Some clients want to be part of nearly every decision; others prefer an edited experience with clear milestones and recommendations. We tailor the level of involvement while keeping the process, communication and design moving forward.

Our process creates distinct phases for exploration, decisions, and execution so clients and project teams always understand what comes next. Budget is part of that conversation from the beginning and is refined alongside the design as the project develops.

Introduction & Kick-Off
We begin by understanding the big picture — your home, priorities, lifestyle, project team, and how you want to experience the process. We also establish the project’s initial investment parameters, even if those numbers are preliminary.

Final Design & Documentation
The design and selections are refined together with a final review of the project budget, giving clients a clear understanding of both the finished direction and anticipated investment before moving into execution. From there, the design is translated into the drawings, schedules, specifications, and information needed for construction and procurement.

Concept & Space Planning
We establish the overall direction of the home and solve how each space should function, flow, and feel. At this stage, we also develop an initial working budget based on the scope, design direction, and our knowledge of what the project will realistically require.

Construction & Procurement
Here is where months of planning begin to take shape — and where projects can feel the most demanding. We stay closely engaged throughout, collaborating with the project team, answering design questions, reviewing details, and helping navigate the inevitable decisions that arise along the way. Behind the scenes, furnishings and materials are ordered, tracked, and coordinated so the final vision continues moving forward.

Design Development
With the big picture in place, we develop the details — materials, cabinetry, lighting, plumbing, furnishings, and architectural elements. As real selections begin to take shape, the working budget is refined alongside the design so we can make thoughtful decisions about where to invest and where to simplify.

Installation & Reveal
This is the moment everything comes together. Furnishings arrive, artwork is hung, window treatments are installed, and the final layers that make a home feel personal are put into place. We coordinate the installation as a whole so our clients can step into a finished home that feels considered, familiar, and entirely their own — the culmination of everything we’ve created together.

Our favorite projects continue beyond construction. Furnishings, artwork, window treatments, and the final layers are considered as part of the home from the beginning, so once the dust settles, we’re ready to finish what we started.
