Do you work with clients who don't live in Florida? Yes. Many second-home projects are designed for clients who live elsewhere. Our process is structured around clear communication, organized decision-making and close coordination with the local project team so clients can remain involved without needing to be continually on site.

Our Florida work is centered around 30A, South Walton and the surrounding Gulf Coast, including Inlet Beach, Rosemary Beach, Alys Beach, Watersound, Seaside, WaterColor, Santa Rosa Beach, Panama City Beach, Destin and neighboring communities. We also consider projects elsewhere in Florida.
When should we hire an interior designer for a new construction or renovation project? Ideally, early. Bringing an interior designer into the project during architectural planning allows decisions about space planning, cabinetry, lighting, electrical, plumbing, finishes and furnishings to develop together rather than independently.
Do you design vacation homes and rental properties? Yes. LBD designs second homes, family vacation homes and select high-end rental properties. For rental homes, we consider durability and guest experience alongside the same design standards we bring to our residential work.
